The Treatment Director establishes the therapeutic philosophy methods and techniques, develops preliminary service plans, develops diagnostic assessment and initial service plan for review, and oversees Counseling team. The Treatment Director also conducts groups and individual therapy sessions, approves admission of children into the child-care program, conducts admission assessments, and makes recommendations to the Executive Director regarding terminations of professional consultants. The Treatment Director maintains communication with the child-care staff and assists with problems solving around children’s behaviors. She also contracts for services from professional consultants, and supervises, evaluates and trains professional consultants and staff. The Treatment Director is a full time employee of St. Georgia’s, LLC GRO.

Duties include:
- Establishes the treatment philosophy, methods, and techniques
- Responsible for the overall treatment program, including clinical responsibility for the management of the operation’s therapeutic interventions.
- Provides direction and overall management of the treatment program.
- Contracts for services from professional consultants
- Supervises, evaluates, and trains professional consultants
- Makes recommendations to the Executive Director regarding terminations of professional consultants
- Approved admission of children into the child-care program
- Develop and assists with preliminary treatment plan
- Develops and assists with diagnostic assessment and initial treatment plan for review and approval of treatment team
- Ensures that children’s files, incident reports, therapy notes, and restraint reports are in compliance with PRS and Youth for Tomorrow standards
- Maintains medical and dental records and make appointments as necessary
- Maintains communication with child care staff and assists with problem solving around children’s behavior
- Maintains positive relationships with managing conservators
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain professional and ethical standards as prescribed by St. Georgia’s, LLC GRO
- Comply with all licensing standards as well as funding source guidelines
- Role model a professional demeanor at all times
Minimum Qualifications
A master’s degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and three years of experience providing treatment services for children with an emotional disorder, including one year in a residential setting; or Licensed Master Social Worker, a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed professional counselor, or a licensed marriage and family therapist, and have three years of experience providing treatment services for children with an emotional disorder, including one year in a residential setting. The Treatment Director must submit to a FBI and Criminal Background Check and pass a preemployment Drug Test as well as submit to random drug testing.

Additional Required Experience
Supervisory experience in monitoring and quality assurance of behavior/case management, budget management, personnel management, conflict resolution, cultural diversity awareness, overall office management, group or family counseling, resident services, residential, educational or institutional settings and advocacy. Preferred computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
